The Decameron is Boccaccio’s famous book set in Renaissance Florence during the Plague.

To escape the Plague, ten young people decamp to a country house where they pass the time by telling stories. For each of the ten days they are there, each of the ten people tells a story. The Decameron is made up of these one hundred stories.

E&C’s Annual Tasting in 2021 is called The Decameron because we are looking forward to our very own Renaissance. We can’t wait for you to be able to meet our producers once again, listen to stories about their wines, why we love them, and to share memories of exhilarating drinks experiences.
